Denso will invest in Guanajuato

The automotive company will expand its operations in Silao.

After an investment of 13 million dollars, Denso continues to strengthen its presence in Guanajuato. The automotive company will expand its operations in Silao, and intends to generate 450 new jobs. The above was announced by Governor Diego Sinhue after a meeting with executives of the Japanese company.

"I have just been informed of a new expansion of 13 million dollars and will generate 450 jobs for the people of Guanajuato. This is undoubtedly good news, because with companies like Denso we continue to make Guanajuato the Greatness of Mexico," he said.

Denso is a company dedicated to the manufacture of electromobility systems and cooling and air conditioning systems for the automotive industry, in addition to the value chain of the food industry with presence in Guanajuato Puerto Interior.

Ten years ago, this company invested more than 57 million dollars in the State of Guanajuato, an amount that has increased to 118 million dollars.

Among the main companies that DENSO serves are Toyota, Ford, GM, Stellantis, Nissan and Volkswagen with components and auto parts such as air conditioning systems, radiators, alternators and windshield wiper systems. The plant has more than 40,000 square meters of floor space and 18,000 square meters of office building.
