Investment rain for Guanajuato
HiHo and AB Medical invest $126 million dollars in Apaseo El Grande and will generate 850 jobs.
With an investment of more than 126 million dollars, the companies HiHo and AB Medical will install their new plants in Apaseo El Grande, Guanajuato; this was announced by Diego Sinhue Rodriguez, Governor of the state.
During the successful investment attraction tour in Asia, the state governor highlighted that the companies are expected to generate 850 new jobs in the state. The first of these is HiHo, a company specialized in the aluminum industry through the development of mines, smelting and production of quality manufactured products in their final form, which is known for producing wheels for major automakers such as Nissan, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz and BMW.
The company has 2,500 employees in countries such as the United States, Japan, China, India, England, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea and will soon be present in Mexico, specifically located in the Chuy Maria Park in Apaseo El Grande, Guanajuato.
"We are grateful that they trust in our state, they come to the right place because we have the most dynamic automotive cluster in Latin America, and we are the ideal platform for the entire North American market," emphasized Sinhue Rodriguez. This investment represents a strategic step for the firm, as well as for the state, as it adds to its global network of facilities, strengthens its presence, and highlights its position in the country as an attractive destination for investment in the automotive sector.
AB Medical
AB Medical is a leading company in the medical devices industry in Korea, currently serving the markets of Paraguay, Peru, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Suriname, Malaysia, Vietnam and Mexico, where there is a growing market to serve Latin America and North America.
"Their executives are confirming an investment of 26.33 million dollars to open a plant in Guanajuato, generating 250 jobs; I am sure that AB Medical will be very successful in the state, because it is the ideal platform to conquer the entire American continent," said the Governor.
The company is a producer of blood collection tubes "V-TUBE". In South Korea they have 20% of the market and offer the technology of the collectors, providing the best results in blood analysis.
