Jiahua invests in Mexico

The company will open a polyurethane plant in Coahuila

The Chinese company, Jiahua Chemical, announced the investment of 20 million pesos for the construction of its new plant, which will be located in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila and which may be starting operations at the beginning of the following year.

The CEO for America of Jiahua Industry, Tymothy Madden, emphasized the importance of this investment for Mexico, since with it they will manufacture and supply these inputs to the national automotive industry.

» Jiahua Chemical is one of the largest polyurethane companies in China.

"The company annually produces 1.6 million tons of polyurethane supplies and currently has eight plants and two distribution centers in Asia and Europe, for the research and development of products of biological origin, carbon-negative products and rigid biofoams for the automotive industry" the CEO noted.

It should be noted that the event was attended by different representatives of the polyurethane industry and presented innovations in materials and processes within this sector that include applications for 3D printing, the aerospace industry and electromobility.

Mexico currently occupies the fourth place in the polyurethane market, after China, the United States and Germany, so having made the investment in the country was a great decision for both nations, because with this they will join forces, as well as, economic synergies.

With this installation, it is expected to strengthen its position in the Mexican market and satisfy the growing demand for inputs by the automotive industry, representing a significant step for both countries.
