Executives from the Korean company LS Cable & System México visited Querétaro to announce the commencement of work for the establishment of two new industrial plants at Parque Industrialix in the municipality of Corregidora.

As part of their global expansion strategy, the company has decided to invest $100 million USD in Querétaro, which will generate 500 high-specialization jobs throughout the project's development until 2027.

The LS Cable & System executives met with Querétaro officials and acknowledged the favorable investment climate of the state. They highlighted the 130-megawatt energy capacity of Parque Industrialix and expressed gratitude for the support received from the state, which has created favorable conditions for further investment in Querétaro.

Marco del Prete Tercero, Secretary of Sustainable Development for the state of Querétaro, explained that the industrial plants will be dedicated to the manufacture of cables for electricity and electromobility. “They informed us of the progress on the installation of their new industrial plants in Querétaro, which will be focused on the production of cables for electricity and electromobility. We appreciate the trust they place in the talent of our state,” emphasized the state official.
