It is estimated that the company will generate 120 direct jobs initially, with plans to expand to 300 next year.
Entity attracting investments Governor Esteban Villegas attended the industrial plant's opening, noting that with IPSE Remolques now operational, 14 new companies have been installed in the state out of the 31 planned for 2024. "We have been to China and brought investment; we went to Europe and brought investment, but this company is Mexican, and I congratulate them for generating employment and betting on the state," said Villegas, adding that with IPSE Remolques, the story in the Comarca Lagunera will change.
"Mexican companies are betting on La Laguna, like IPSE Remolques, a company that will grow significantly. If they succeed, Durango succeeds, which changes the lives of families and is what we are aiming for. The best is yet to come," added the state leader, mentioning that they still have confidentiality agreements with companies and more economic surprises are expected in the coming months.
