Prettl's North American director, Carlos Barroso, commented that the company, which has been present in Querétaro for 27 years, contemplates the manufacture and design of harnesses for the white goods and industrial sectors.
He explained that this investment is part of a long-term growth plan for the company, which is a leader in the manufacture of plastic parts, electronics and harnesses for both the automotive industry and the home appliance industry, an action that confirms the Prettl family's confidence in continuing to invest in the state.
"The Prettl group, with several locations in Querétaro, continues to have great faith in the state and for social peace, for labor peace, we will continue to invest in Querétaro," he said. Barroso commented that in the Prettl group's plant located in the municipality of Colón, which began operations five or six years ago, 450,000 dollars are invested in solar equipment for green energy.
"And another company of the Prettl group, Ekerle, is also going to invest some four million dollars in automation to remain competitive in the market," the company's executive stressed.
The governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri, emphasized that Prettl is a socially responsible company, being a green company that maintains its commitment by improving its environmentally friendly production processes.
"It is a leading company in its field, and we are very convinced that this is the type of company we want (...) they are already providing more than four thousand jobs in Querétaro, and without a doubt, this is the direction that Querétaro should take, with companies of this caliber," he concluded.
