During the visit, the mayor emphasized the importance of Villa Hidalgo as a natural route to the northeast of the country and the United States. He said that if this investment is completed, the Korean company will generate 300 jobs for the inhabitants of this area. "One of the key aspects of the proposal presented by the Korean executives was the generation of dignified employment and the commitment to social security and benefits in excess of the law for the more than 300 workers that would be hired at the plant"; he added.
